Trip to Meadview Az

This last weekend we adventured up to Meadview Az. That is where Adam's Dad and Mary have retired. Great Grandma Allen was down for a visit too. The kids got to feed the quail and shoot at cans with Papa's BB gun. We had a great time went out on Lake Mead and just hung out! Hope to get to stay longer next time!

It's been awhile!

I know it has been a long!!!!! time since I have posted anything! Actually it has been since February! I will give you all a quick rundown of what has been going on. Dane turned 5 in March and started Kindergarten in August! He is loving school and is excited to go everyday, not sure how long it will last but we will see! Gage turned 7 earlier this month and went into the 2nd grade! He is doing well, just a little to smart for his own good at times. Arizona turned 13 last Saturday, YES 13! She is in the 8th grade and doing very well. She is not half the handful the boys are! We had a great summer vacation to Virginia to visit Adam's sister. We took the kids to DC, they loved seeing the White House and the Lincoln Memorial. Adam and I aren't up to anything new, just work and more work! I am going to try to do better at keeping up!

So, Adam was pretty sick last week and the kids and I needed a break, and he needed some quiet time. I decided to take them hiking at the White Tanks State Park. It is about 15 min from our house. We did about a 3.5 mile loop, they all did great! Dane did end up on my back for about 1/2 mile at the end, but it was worth it! Here are a few pics from the day! Oh, my girlfriend Michelle went too.

It has been confirmed WE ARE CRAZY!

So on Monday off to work and school we went. Pearls first day alone! It didn't go so well. She cried all day and some how managed to climb the out of the little pen we got for her. So, we made some changes and Tuesday off we went again! Well she actually managed to get out of the yard this time and went across the street of visit her brother Bear (who lives with our neighbor). So, here comes the crazy part!!!!
We adopted her sister to keep her company. Everything has gone great since! Roxy is a little more adventurous than Pearl but they love each other. Here are a few pics of the girls!!!
